Notes:
1. This product irritates the eyes, respiratory system and skin.
2. After contact with skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
3. After contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
4. It is generally not hazardous to water and should not be discharged into the environment without government permission.
Uses:
1. Sodium methacrylate is used as a dispersant and can also be used as an excipient in coatings. Sodium methacrylate is polymerized into sodium polyacrylate, which is a kind of polyanionic polymer dielectric and an important chemical product developed in modern times.
2. Sodium polyacrylate includes water-soluble and water-swellable two categories, water-swellable sodium polyacrylate belongs to the category of super absorbent resin; another category of water-soluble sodium polyacrylate is widely used in food, feed, textile, paper, water treatment, petrochemical, agriculture, forestry, horticulture, physiological hygiene and other fields due to its different molecular weight.
3. Sodium polyacrylate is usually synthesized from acrylic acid neutralized by sodium hydroxide. Other monomers can also be copolymerized with sodium acrylate to modify the properties of sodium polyacrylate and synthesize sodium polyacrylate copolymers with special properties.
